COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety, depression, anger, and discouragement. When our thinking becomes distorted, our emotions and behaviors follow. CBT highlights the interconnected, bi-directional influences that our thoughts, behaviours, and emotions can have between each other. CBT teaches you how to examine those patterns and replace them with thinking that is accurate, balanced, and life-giving.

Biblically Integrated CBT can help persons by including some of its tools, habits, and perspectives into their mindset along with Scripture and other efforts and interventions to support mental health.
Including issues such as:
-
Anxiety and panic
-
Depression
-
Obsessive-compulsive patterns
-
Trauma-related symptoms
-
Anger and irritability
-
Relationship difficulties
-
Low self-worth and shame

Always Christian in Foundation
While clinical tools are drawn from contemporary psychology, the interpretive framework remains Christian.
This means:
-
Human dignity is grounded in being created in the image of God.
-
Sin, suffering, and brokenness are understood theologically as well as psychologically.
-
Repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation, and sanctification are meaningful categories.
-
Hope is rooted not merely in self-improvement, but in God’s redemptive work.
Scripture speaks to both the inner life and relational life:
-
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2
-
“Above all else, guard your heart.” — Proverbs 4:23
-
“Speak the truth in love.” — Ephesians 4:15
These themes naturally align with responsible psychological care.
